Blooms Taxonomy Lesson

Write 7 questions on your topic using Blooms taxonomy (recall up to creativity.) Students start on question 1. When they have answered and had the answer checked they write their name on a post it note and put it on a triangle displayed on the board:

Each time they get an answer correct they move their post it note up the board. This gives the teacher a really easy way of seeing who is making progress in the lesson and the competitive element really motivates the students.

Students could work individually or in teams (to encourage communication agreeing on answers.)
